This project involved taking the existing footprint of the upstairs two bedroom, one bathroom area and converting it into one large master suite. Daylighting with large windows and adding a whirlpool tub were the main priorities for the client. This project went into contract in November and the clients were wanting an expedited timeline with major remodel work needed. The schedule was set for 4 months and the project was completed in 3. The main goals were satisfied and the client was beyond happy with the end product.

The Challenge

Install a large whirlpool tub in a new location than the existing bathroom.

Our Solution

We were able to access the plumbing and complete all the retrofitting from the ceiling of the floor below. As opposed to removing all the existing subfloor on the second floor.

Demo complete and new layout framed in.

Bathroom framing and insulated. This project was being worked on in January of 2024. In order to maintain heat in the house we insulated the areas where the large windows would be going to hold heat until the windows arrived.
